Today we went to a food festival in a town called Cowbridge. It’s a beautiful town full of gorgeous architecture, independent stores and a warm welcoming charm. It was a fantastic atmosphere full of music, intoxicating aromas and of course delicious food. There was some really interesting combinations of flavours as well as the off funky accessory.
So it got be thinking, how funky kitchen accessories can bring fun and laughter into our homes. Having a young son myself, I know how hard it is sometimes to keep him entertained during meal times. Sammy is one of those children who never sits still, he lives half on and half off a chair prepared to move onto the next thing, what ever that next thing happens to be, therefore he finds mealtimes boring as he has to sit still. I love these food face plates, as they encourage kids to play with their food in a fun way. What child wouldn’t love decorating a funny face with their tea?
Apparently this dinner try is ‘awesome’ with its house and landscape allowing you to place the meal, dessert and drink all on one tray.
Do you love fries with a sauce? Are you ketchup person, or maybe you prefer barbecue sauce or even my personal favourite, mayonnaise? This dipping cone is super cool and a great way to serve you fries especially when you have friends round.
I can never measure pasta properly, but with this brilliant pasta measurer I will never have too little pasta ever again. The largest setting is in the shape of a Horse which is the right portion for the whole family.
This funky Say Cheese Instant Slicer is perfect for getting the perfect slice every time. Designed to look like a Polaroid instant-camera, this instant slicer looks as good as it slices.
Do you have a passion for bikes but also love pizza? Then this bumblebee pizza cutter is made for you and the perfect addition to your collection of funky kitchen accessories.
For our final funky accessory I couldn’t resist this cute ceramic whale is actually a party food pick holder. The perfect statement piece for you next party, your nibbles would never have looked so much fun.
