Hello, everyone! It’s Mari here from Arcadian Home, a great place to find beautiful home decor inspirations. As part of my job, I often have the opportunity to visit lovely sites like Trying to Balance the Madness to share some of the great interior design and decorating ideas I have find during my online travels.
Today’s guest post is all about beauty in the bath. I’ve brought along images of eight of my favorite spaces. Please enjoy!
The HGTV Dream Home 2012 master bath is truly a dream spa-like getaway. I love the way the designer enhances a sedate color palette with interesting patterns and textures.
At once handsome and beautiful, this sophisticated his-and-her bath cleverly merges feminine and masculine elements. The lovely wall art is actually a stunningly creative use of art glass and mirrored tiles.
Decidedly on the feminine side, this pale bath designed by Suzanne Kasler epitomizes beauty in the bath. Sleek lines and hard surfaces are softened by flowing draperies and upholstered slipper chair. I wish we could see more of the pretty wallpaper.
Feminine elements also bring beauty to this traditional bath. Pale lilac hues, silver accents and these types of crystal chandeliers all add personal style.
With a breathtaking cityscape beyond, this handsome bath is dramatic in dark woods and exposed brick. My favorite element (besides the view) is the vaulted ceiling.
For those who love a bit of whimsy with their beauty in the bath, this lighthearted design should be just about perfect. I love the moody color on the ceiling, walls and fireplace.
Sleek tile and black tub make for a stunning look in this contemporary bath. The brilliant hue of the bathroom light and sculptural vessel sink brings the entire space to life.
