I was extremely honoured yesterday to receive information about an unique and stunning desk by Evoni Design.
Sarah Antico, Marketing & PR Manager tells me,
“The Spector Desk is the Work element of our British designed and built, Work, Eat, Play collection that launched in May 2013 at the Interiors LDN section of the May Design Series. An executive desk inspired by a 1950’s vintage film canister and designed for forward thinking professionals with an appreciation of interior architecture. The retro style and elegant curved shape will you breathless and lusting after the Spector Desk.
Each solid barrel is made by bonding thirty, 25mm thick CNC cut rings of high grade MDF together. This innovative production technique was employed to prevent any imperfections in the cylindrical shape when sprayed with a high gloss lacquer (colour of your choice). Once hardened for three weeks the lacquer is hand polished to a piano finish creating a luxurious shine and smooth, reflective surface.
There are two handle less, soft closing drawers on each barrel, providing practical and smart storage space. The oak drawers are offered in various light and dark stains and a satin or piano finish gloss lacquer. Bespoke stains and finishes available upon request.
The tinted glass feature on the surface of the desk adds a touch of elegance and provides the user full visibility of the beautiful inner curve of the barrels.”
I just love the shapes this desk creates, it’s bold elegance oozes luxury. This is my dream desk.
